Consumer Reports Puts Lexus on Top

For yet another consecutive year, Lexus and Toyota have come out on top in the rankings of most reliable cars you can buy (and by a pretty impressive margin). Some of the best cars that Consumer Reports noted as being in the top included the Scion xB, the Lexus CT 200h and the Lexus ES 300h. In the SUV category the Toyota Highlander and the Lexus RX took two of the top spots. Of the 1,078,364 vehicles included in the survey, 10 models of the Lexus came out on top and 24 models of Toyota followed suit. The Lexus IS 350 sedan was the top rated luxury compact car in its class. In hybrid and electric cars, the Lexus CT 200h led its category followed by the Lexus ES 300h. The Lexus LS and Lexus ES were the top two rated in luxury midsize/large vehicles and the Lexus RX, RX hybrid and GX took the top three spots in luxury midsize/large SUVs.
