Love at First Sight
They say it all the time, how it's impolite to stare, but sometimes you just can't help it. When you're cruising down the highway and a pearly white Lexus IS F whizzes by, it's hard to keep your eyes from following! So we are here to tell you that it's okay. We are only human, and when something so flawless revs its engine, it is nearly impossible to focus on anything other than that beautifully crafted machine. So whether you are in love with its perfectly contoured exterior, its sparkling coat of white, or the way it moves while it cruises, we don't blame you for staring a little longer than you should. We won't judge you. In fact, we'll join you.

The Lexus RX Redesigned
The RX Hybrid is the first hybrid vehicle to feature Intelligent Shift Control, a system that can estimate whether you are traveling uphill or downhill and automatically provide the optimal engine response, or you can manually shift for greater responsiveness and maneuverability. The power opening and closing rear door offers easy access to the rear storage area. The rear door can be raised and lowered from inside the vehicle by using a switch or remotely with the SmartAccess fob. The available dual-screen Rear-Seat Entertainment System enables two video sources to be viewed at the same time. Using a single remote control, one can be used, for instance, as a DVD player and the other as a game console or audio player. Wireless headphones are also graciously included, leaving the driver free to enjoy something entirely different: silence.

In addition to remote features and relaxing accessories, the RX is designed to know its driver. Available heated and ventilated front seats can be personalized using three separate settings each for heating and cooling, and the available Lexus Memory System automatically adjusts the power driver’s seat (except lumbar), the outside mirrors and the steering wheel to your personal settings. It's hard to believe so much luxury can come in such a dynamic package. The Lexus RX prides itself on not only impressing you, but all other drivers on the road.

Should a LX F be in Our Future?
Do you think that Lexus should make a high-performance version of the LX 570? Photochopper X-Tomi believes so, and has rendered an Ultrasonic Blue LX F to prove his point.
The idea of an LX F is an appealing one — replace the slatted grille with the F-pattern mesh, add some fender vents, drop in the 450 horsepower supercharged 5.7L V8 engine from the limited edition LX offered in the Middle East, and DONE.
And yet, here’s the thing — the new LX 570’s design is already turned all the way up. Some subtle adjustments like the recently announced Modellista kit may work out, but the changes needed to make an LX F would push this design right over the edge. Better to skip the exterior modifications and just offer a supercharged LX as an option in North America (although, we would love to sport this ultrasonic blue LX around town, wouldn't you?).

Spain's Blackout Lexus CT
Lexus Spain has introduced the Blackout edition of the Lexus CT 200h Sport. The new edition has blacked-out roof, grille and wheels, which add to the edgy boldness of the already dramatic CT Sport. With a peppery-red and deep black accents, the sport-luxury compact stands out in all of the right ways. A smooth red complements the thick, hand-waxed exterior and makes the driver feel the thrill of a Spanish-inspired design. We can't help but want to take these red-hot wheels for a spin around Barcelona and explore Spain in the right way- in absolute luxury.

The Lexus Hoverboard
Have you
heard the hype about the hoverboard? Lexus recently introduced its
bind-boggling hoverboard, and here is the recent press release:
The Lexus Hoverboard technology features two “cryostats”—reservoirs in which superconducting material is kept at -197 degrees through immersion in liquid nitrogen. The board is then placed above a track that contains permanent magnets. Dr. Oliver de Haas, evico CEO, said: “The magnetic field from the track is effectively ‘frozen’ into the superconductors in the board, maintaining the distance between the board and the track—essentially keeping the board hovering. This force is strong enough to allow the rider to stand and even jump on the board.”
We want
to test it out! How about you?

The Lexus NX 200t F SPORT has taken first place in a Motor Trend compact crossover comparison against the BMW X3 xDrive28i, Land Rover Range Rover Evoque, Lincoln MKC 2.0 AWD, and Volvo XC60 T6:
[The NX] comes well-dressed at the lowest as-tested price, with good cost of ownership and high marks for driving experience, cabin and leather quality, ride and handling balance, efficiency, and safety. And as [MT editor Edward] Loh asserted, its “engine sounds great under wide-open throttle, especially in Sport mode.”This is a strong win against difficult competitors; An excellent win for the new Lexus compact crossover.

LF-C2 Concept
The LF-C2 concept car demonstrates in a physical form the
plans Lexus has in store for its future design direction. The concept involves
2+2 layout that is derived from a pure and simple sports coupe idea. It sports
an open-air design that allows all passengers to feel the wind through their
hair. The LF-C2 is a roadster concept, and does not have any type of top
covering the cabin. The exterior was influenced by the way shapes on the
surface interact with different types of light. Designers crafted the edges,
curvatures and planes of the surface to reflect light in such a way that it
exudes an all-new character when touched by it. The multi-layer paint process
further adds to the exterior character of the concept to give it a fresh
finish. Keep an eye out for this concept in the future because who knows? You
may be the one behind the wheel.

National Peanut Butter Day
Who doesn’t love peanut butter? So let’s celebrate Peanut Butter Day on Saturday, January 24th! This auspicious occasion was created many years ago, to allow peanut butter lovers to celebrate the creation of this wonderful food.
Peanut butter can be eaten and used in many different recipes. I see nothing wrong in sitting down and indulging in a jar of the creamy or crunchy delight with a spoon. What more do you need?
Families and friends can celebrate Peanut Butter Day by getting together and creating delicious recipes containing peanut butter, from cookies and cakes to sautes and sauces. These can of course be consumed at home, or some prefer to make a day of it and go on a picnic style outing. There are many individuals that eat nothing but peanut butter on Peanut Butter Day.
There are even schools that will only serve peanut butter sandwiches to their students on this festive day. What better sandwich is there in the world?
