5. Would you rather lose your keys for three days straight or have your dog eat your birthday cake? I don’t have a dog but I’d rather have my dog eat my cake.


6. What is your favorite TV show? I have so many. Right now, 'Law in Order' and 'Two and A Half Men'


7. What is your favorite number and why? I don’t know? Ummm, I don’t really have a favorite number.

13. What is the one thing you are really proud of? My nephew signed to go to college at U of A in Monticello! He is the first in my family to go to college.


14. If you could pick a day from last year and relive it, what day would that be? Big Brothers Big Sisters Auction, Dec. 11th. It was really cool.

Lexus CT 200h Brochure leak!






The Lexus CT 200h will officially debut on March 2nd at the Geneva Auto Show.

-The CT is built on an all new platform with a double-wishbone rear and tuned McPherson strut front suspension
-The 1.8L VVT-i engine found in the Prius is confirmed as the engine component of the CT 200h’s powertrain. No mention is made of overall horsepower.
-There will be four distinct driving modes: EV, Eco, Normal & Sport. Switching to sport will change the instrument panel and center console spotlight to red. (Nice touch!)

Superior Lexas was glad to be a part of a local Haitain Relief Effort...



Superior Lexus was glad to be a part of a local Haitain Relief Effort. Citizens of the local African, Caribbean, Haitian community amongst others gathered at the VFW Hall in Overland Park to raise money for the Haitian Relief Efforts. The event featured a full authentic Caribbean buffet, a silent auction, and vendor bo...oths. Those in attendance danced to Caribbean and Haitian music and jams. All funds raised from tickets sold will go to the Red Cross for Haitian relief. $2,500 was raised! Lexus RX and IS win Best Overall Value



Toyota and Lexus Dominate 2010 IntelliChoice.com Best Overall Values of the Year Awards
CHICAGO, February 10, 2010 - - Toyota and Lexus once again captured more trophies than any other automaker in the 23rd annual Intellichoice.com “Best Overall Values of the Year” (BOVY) awards, announced today at the 2010 Chicago Auto Show. Intellichoice.com is a leading source for automotive ownership cost and value analysis of cars, trucks, crossovers and sport utility vehicles (SUV’s). The annual BOVY awards identify best-in-class vehicles that deliver outstanding value and lower than expected costs over time.

“IntelliChoice.com’s annual BOVY awards are designed to instruct buyers on the cars, trucks and SUVs that deliver the most value for the money over a five year period of ownership,” said Charlie Vogelheim, executive editor of IntelliChoice.com. “We rank every model on the market based on the most important cost of ownership factors, including retained value, fuel, maintenance and repair, insurance, licensing and fees.

Toyota and Lexus garnered five of the eight overall rankings for cars and trucks, and 11 of 31 total vehicle segments. Toyota winners included the Prius hybrid, Yaris hatchback, Avalon full-size sedan, FJ Cruiser mid-size SUV, Highlander mid-size crossover, Sequoia full-size SUV, Sienna minivan, and both Tacoma 4x2 and 4x4 compact pickups. Lexus award winners included the RX luxury crossover, and the IS 350 luxury sedan.

Watch Kelly Spires compete in the Fontana and Las Vegas Races!



Kelly Bires Birthdate: August 25, 1984

Hometown: Mauston, Wisconsin

Resides: Kannapolis, N.C.


Kelly Bires became JR Motorsports’ newest talent in September 2009, signing with the company to take over the highly competitive and extremely visible driver’s seat of the No. 88 Chevrolets in 2010.At just 25 years of age, the Mauston, Wisconsin native had already frequented the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and NASCAR Nationwide Series for two years, the latter of which he scored three top-five and 11 top-10 finishes.


* By the age of 12 he had already nailed down two Regional Karting Titles.

* By 14 he had added consecutive national championships.

* He entered the Allison Legacy Car Series at 15 and in two years, he won the two most prestigious awards, Rookie of the Year (2000) and Series Champion (2001).

* After making the move to the late model ranks in 2002, Bires ran locally in Wisconsin for two years before moving to Charlotte to pursue a career in NASCAR.

* He showed up to the ASA Late Model Series in 2006, as he notched seven wins, four poles, 15 top- five finishes and no finishes out of the top-10 in 17 starts. He was the runaway winner of the series championship and Rookie of the Year honors.
